WHAT FURNITURE TREATMENT WILL DO

Luxurious Furniture Treatment No.5 is an all-natural blend of oil and nutrients specially brewed for leather furniture and upholstery. This tasteful melange is designed to compliment leather’s natural texture without overloading it with oils or toxic chemicals. Furniture Treatment does it all, be it beautifying your leather, putting color back in old, fading hide, or covering up scuffs and marks. This recipe is good for nearly any kind of furniture, so you can rest easy and unwind as you treat your leather, whether it’s a sofa, couch, loveseat, ottoman, chair or footrest.

ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, ALL-NATURAL, SAFE FOR HUMAN SKIN!

And Furniture Treatment doesn’t stop there. Tantalizing your leather with all-natural ingredients and an optimal, pH-balanced recipe, this leather conditioner has a distinctive quality that cannot be ignored. Complementing its rich, creamy consistency you can almost taste is a subtle fragrance, an enchantment, harkening back to the crackling embers of a warm, fiery hearth. The cream texture, designed for easy application and maximum absorption, will melt into your leather as easily as butter on hot bread. Exotic scents complete this pleasurable leather conditioning experience – subtle sensations lasting only as long as long as the conditioner takes to absorb, so that they will not affect your leather’s natural scent. This all-natural, environmentally friendly recipe is even made with FDA approved, cosmetic grade ingredients safe for human skin, so much that we’ve straight up watched people drink Leather Milk straight out of the bottle like actual milk! We wouldn’t personally advise doing this, of course!

RICHER, MORE BEAUTIFUL LEATHER; MADE IN USA

Like all of Chamberlain’s leather conditioners, Recipe No.5 should enrich your leather’s color and give it the soft, supple texture that it deserves. As this recipe absorbs and conditions, it will strengthen the fibers of your leather, making it grow stronger, and live longer. A light cleaning element permits Furniture Treatment to give your leather a gentle surface cleansing, and its protective properties give it a much-needed barrier against many household impurities, such as spills and dust. This recipe will save you countless hours of otherwise mundane, routine treatment – don’t be surprised to find many blissful naps following it.

If you have already used Furniture Treatment, you will not need to apply any other leather conditioners to your leather, at least until it is ready to be conditioned again. All Leather Milk products are made in USA.

WHAT FURNITURE TREATMENT DOES NOT DO
Furniture Treatment should not be treated as a deep cleaner. This means that any stain below the leather’s surface (or any stain that has had time to set) will probably not come out with this recipe. Leather Care Liniment will remove light surface contaminants, such as dust, but is not intended for any cleaning task beyond routine, spot dusting. For stains below the leather’s surface, use Straight Cleaner No.2. If your leather has had a spill, treat it as soon as possible to prevent absorption. You can read about spillage here.

If the leather you plan to use is excessively dry and cracking, or the color has faded to very large degree, you may be better off using Chamberlain’s Water Protectant No.3, which contains more deeply penetrating oils and waxes for intensive treatment. Leather dyes may be necessary to fully restore color in some cases. While we advise not placing leather furniture in places exposed to frequent sunlight, Auto Refreshener No.4 boasts UV protectants that help deter sunlight’s harmful effects.

Recipe No.5 cannot heal excessive gashes and cuts. Furniture Treatment can strengthen fibers that are still intact, and prevent them from ripping more, but a cut cannot be uncut by conventional means. This recipe will cover up small scratches and scars, but if your furniture contains deep cuts and wounds, it will need to be treated by a leather care professional for full restoration.

Furniture Treatment is not designed for nubuck, suede, “genuine leather,” napped leather, or other extremely soft leathers.

HOW TO USE FURNITURE TREATMENT

1. If available, consult any leather care recommendations included with your item by the leather’s manufacturer.

2. Shake well. Test recipe first in a discreet area and allow to dry naturally in a cool, clean location away from sunlight and heat. If you do not find excess color rub off, discoloration in leather, or any other negative effect, it is safe to use on your leather.

3. Clean over the surface of your leather with a damp cloth or Straight Cleaner No.2 first if it is dirty. When the leather is dry, shake your Leather Milk recipe bottle well and gently massage the conditioner evenly across the leather’s surface. An uneven spread may lead to a splotchy dry. Use thin layers, giving your leather as many coats as it needs, but only as much conditioner as it can absorb. If piled on too thickly, the leather conditioner may leave a sticky residue. You can read about over-conditioned leather here.

4. After it has been conditioned, allow your leather to dry naturally. When the leather has absorbed all the conditioner it can, buff off any remaining residue, and let it set. For best results, allow the leather to sit overnight.

5. Use Furniture Treatment as often as you feel your leather needs it. It is usually best to condition 2-4 times a year, depending on the climate and amount of use the leather will receive, as well as its type (how it was made). If your leather is feeling rough and dry, starts squeaking, or develops other textural changes, it may be time to re-condition.

IS FURNITURE TREATMENT RIGHT FOR MY LEATHER?

Furniture Treatment’s fresh and gentle touch makes it the perfect companion for almost any leather furniture. Nonetheless, it is always important to test this recipe first, especially when dealing with unfinished leather such as aniline and vegetable-tanned leather, or white leather. If your leather is unfinished, it may be wise to test your leather in multiple discreet places. Some lighter colored or unfinished leathers darken when conditioned, although will usually lighten back up within a week with use. Every leather is unique, and should be treated uniquely.

Recipe No.5 is best used for beautifying and maintain leather furniture and upholstery, although its many qualities give it an edge for restoration and protection. If you need to restore an old antique, or give your couch a barrier so you have more time to clean up spills before they absorb, this formula has you covered. As easy to handle as it is good at its job, Furniture Treatment will save you countless hours of maintenance and treatment – time better spent napping on the furniture itself!
